Is a car necessary?

Now I am in U.S. again because of buisiness trip.

When I come to U.S., question regarding car necessary is coming, because so many cars are used as tool of moving in everywhere.

As I wrote in this brog, now I have 2 kids!
This should be really impressed. At the same time, I am wondering how our new life is going on (maybe this issue is same for many people who have family).

There are some items that I need to think about, but I would like to concentrate the topic of "car".

Now I am in a boom to search a good car which is suitable for our life. When we have no kids, or only one kid, I don't believe that there is no hardship without a car.

But if there are 2 kids, I am not so sure how our life will be changed. When we go shopping, 2 adults could treat one kid so far. But each adult needs to treat each kid, 1 adult (wife) needs to see 2 kids in normal weekdays. This could lead to limitations for action area, correct?

But at the same time, this would not be big issue. I believe that leeway should be more important for our life than a car. Therefore, simple life would be good direction which we will go. If there is leeway in our life, we could pay attention to our house, children's education and our holiday to share same time with our family.

Huhmm... Answer would be simple. Leeway life with our family should be the most important. I suppose my wife has the same opinion with me.

I have already known the result.
I will not buy a car!
